TREES

Clubs, when you plant trees remember to make sure your Secretary includes this and how many trees you planted in your Activity Report. (A photo to the local press and the WISCONSIN LION newspaper would also be good.)

DG Rick's goal for our district is 1,400 trees -- less than 1 tree per Lion and Lioness. Come on, let's make this world better!

URGENT PLEA FROM RED CROSS REGARDING CRITICAL BLOOD SHORTAGE

Please help spread the word about this need. As Wisconsin Lion Jodi Burmester writes, "If even 5% of our members respond, that will mean 950 pints of desperately needed blood will be added to the supply."

After reviewing club applications, selected Lions will be recognized with a

Melvin Jones or Birch-Sturm Fellowship.

District 27-C1 will be presenting the awards at the April 29th Honors Night.

The annual deadline for these district award applications is January 31st.
